Reviewed: Top 3 Internet Service Providers

by pps-DUEditor

We understand how important it is to find the right internet service provider. But this endeavor involves comparing costs, network availability, download speeds offered, connection type, and customer service experience.

To help you save on precious time, we compared numerous internet service providers and listed down the top 3 options. Let’s dig in and find out.

Xfinity: Best Value

Xfinity is available across most of the country and has earned our Editor’s Choice award based on its competitive prices and reliable and fast internet connection.

Xfinity allows its users to create service bundles like TV, internet, home security, and mobile. This is a great way of saving each month, and Xfinity also offers many bundle-specific discounts for additional savings!

Another benefit of Xfinity is that you can enjoy thousands of wireless hotspots across the US. If you have an Xfinity Mobile or a Performance internet plan, you can access these hotspots for free.

Verizon Fios Home Internet: Best Fiber Internet Provider

Verizon Fios Home Internet takes the cake with its fiber prices and speeds. Its low prices, super-fast download speeds, and good customer service are just some of the reasons for you to choose it over other ISPs.

While its services are still limited to the East Coast, it will hopefully expand its coverage area soon.

Verizon also offers its users excellent “mix and match” TV and internet combos. You can pair any Fios Home Internet plans with any of its Fios TV packages to create a package that offers the internet speed and channel count you want.

The only downside to Verizon Fios is that it no longer offers a public Wi-Fi hotspot network.

CenturyLink: Best DSL internet and price lock

CenturyLink is one of the few DSL ISPs that allow users to lock in their monthly price. Besides the price lock feature, CenturyLink also comes with a  Price for Life guarantee on all of its DSL internet plans.

This guarantees that the monthly bill will never go up as long as you remain a CenturyLink customer. All you have to do is sign up for a Price for Life plan, opt-in for paperless billing, and stick with that internet plan.

But this means you can’t upgrade your internet speed or switch to a new service address. Even if you move or upgrade, you can easily get a new Price for Life plan. It just might not be the same price you paid before.
